Caution Deposit Refund Policy

The caution deposit is a mandatory refundable fee collected at the time of admission (₹360 for most UG programmes and ₹600 for PG/BBT).

Requirements

Eligibility & Documentation

Eligibility and Grounds for Refund

The caution deposit is returned to students after any outstanding dues have been adjusted. To receive a refund before the course is completed, a student must apply for it and take their Transfer Certificate (TC) on the grounds of discontinuing their studies or moving to another institution.

Student Responsibility

It is the explicit responsibility of the student to claim their caution deposit refund immediately after the academic year expires.

Mandatory Documentation

Students must keep their original remittance receipt in safe custody. This original receipt must be produced along with the refund application; failure to produce it will result in the forfeiture of the refund claim.
