Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)
The central quality assurance body driving conscious, consistent, and catalytic improvement across the institution.
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell is the central quality assurance body of St. Xavier's College, Thumba. The Cell is entrusted with developing a system for conscious, consistent, and catalytic improvement in the overall performance of the institution. It promotes quality culture through planning, monitoring, and evaluating academic and administrative activities while ensuring alignment with the institution's vision and mission.
The IQAC facilitates the creation of learner-centric environments, promotes innovative teaching-learning practices, encourages research and extension activities, documents institutional best practices, and coordinates quality enhancement initiatives. It also prepares and submits quality assurance reports and accreditation-related documentation to statutory bodies.
The Cell actively engages faculty members, students, alumni, employers, community representatives, and management in quality-related initiatives. Through collective participation and evidence-based planning, IQAC strengthens institutional effectiveness and promotes continuous improvement.
