Faith into Action
A student movement inspired by Jesuit values and Catholic Social Teaching, open to students of every background.
The All India Catholic University Federation (AICUF) at St. Xavier's College, Thumba, is a student movement inspired by Jesuit values and Catholic Social Teaching. It seeks to form socially conscious, compassionate and responsible young leaders committed to justice, service and the common good.
The unit welcomes students irrespective of caste, creed or religion and provides opportunities for leadership formation, social engagement, community outreach, ecological action, human-rights awareness and interfaith dialogue.

State- and national-level AICUF programmes
Recent initiatives at St. Xavier's have included a Leadership Development Workshop, an interreligious prayer service for freshers, environmental and beach-cleaning activities, a communication skills seminar, and programmes promoting constitutional values and social awareness. The unit also encourages students to participate in AICUF programmes beyond the campus.
Student Leadership
AICUF encourages students to take responsibility through a student leadership structure comprising the President, Secretary, Treasurer and Executive Committee. Regular meetings provide opportunities for planning, reflection, evaluation and collective action.

At St. Xavier's College, AICUF seeks to translate faith into action and learning into service. Through collaboration with Jesuit institutions, NGOs, local communities, parishes and AICUF networks, the unit provides students with opportunities to understand social realities, develop leadership and contribute to a more just and humane society.
