Highlights
During 2024–25, the Media Club participated in the Media Day celebrations organised by the Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Kerala. In collaboration with the Department of Malayalam and Mass Communication, it produced campus radio programmes on the 2024 Olympics and the Wayanad landslide.
The Club also conducted workshops on documentary filmmaking and photography, including Crafting Stories and Shaping the Future and Art of Photography. Photo exhibitions such as PERSPECTOS and EXPLORIA provided students with platforms to showcase their creative work. An industrial visit to Chithranjali Studio offered students first-hand exposure to film production and post-production processes.
Student Engagement
Membership is open to all interested students, with particular encouragement for students of English and Media Studies and related disciplines. Members work in areas such as photography, videography, editing, reporting, design and social media.
The Club also collaborates with other departments and student clubs in covering, documenting and promoting college events, thereby contributing to the digital visibility and institutional memory of the college.
