Dr. Priya P. S.

Dr. Priya P. S. specialises in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, and Cancer Research. She holds a B.Sc. in Microbiology and M.Sc. in Biotechnology from Kannur University, a Ph.D. from Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology focusing on the anticancer activity of Aloe emodin in colon cancer cells, and postdoctoral training in Tumour Immunology at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, USA.

Her research spans cancer biology, tumour immunology, angiogenesis, obesity-associated cancer progression, and natural product-based therapeutics, with publications in Science Translational Medicine, Cancer Discovery, Clinical Cancer Research, PLoS ONE, and European Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences. She is a recipient of the CSIR-Junior Research Fellowship and CSIR Lectureship in Life Sciences, and has presented her work at international conferences in Germany, Italy, and India.
